Laura has an upbeat personality and I just can't see her coming on the air with bad news. Or, since she does appear to be an honest, upfront person, she would cast it in the most positive way possible. I have suspected that if things don't look good that she would make personal decisions accordingly but would be careful how such news would affect her ability to do her job and how it would affect her listeners. Without knowing more, I don't see this as good news. I like her and hope the best for her.

I think Laura should wait until after the chemo to plan a wedding, no sense in putting more on her plate than there is right now!

If this thing ever happened to me, I would not get reconstructive surgery. If this guy left her because he couldn't handle her sickeness then Laura was handed a gift from God. 'In sickness and health'. Laura is a gorgeous woman but she wouldn't be front page news with two missing breasts and if he wanted a barbie doll perhaps he should buy one and sleep with that.

I asked Tony about this on the other thread and he said they are working on it, but have to be patient. We love them both.

Agreed. One thing at a time. People do cut out when these types of things happen, but we don't know enough to know what has happened with Laura and her fiance. My husband's first wife died of breast cancer (which began in her 30's) and she was fired from a job (an attorney no less) because of it. So, Laura's in a tough period in her life and she needs to deal with this first. Prayers for her and her long, fulfilled future.

I've heard women say that reconstructive surgery is important for more than cosmetic reasons. A woman is familiar with a certain equilibrium and that can be restored to what she had previous to surgery or she can choose a whole new sense of balance and projection and cosmetic flourishes. But one must follow the advice of their MD regarding the timing so as not to interfere with the scans for cancer before the "all clear" is given.

That's what it sounds like but I'm more interested in what Hitlery is saying. Too bad Hitlery's lying

Hitlery lying today- what did I miss?

She also stated explicitly on her web site that the wedding was going ahead as planned. So either Jimbo opted out, or her situation is more dire than originally disclosed and she felt the marriage had to be put off.

Here in the DC area, at least, a two-hour weekly highlight show is on on Sunday.

"..or her situation is more dire than originally disclosed and she felt the marriage had to be put off."

I certainly hope not. Prayers.

Totally off-topic, but that image you posted cracked me up. Is that the world's largest collection of plastic apples?
