We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Today is election day in Britain.
Tax receipts have exceeded US Treasury projections for the quarter--some debt will be paid down.
The prosecution has rested in the Michael Jackson case.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I use to tell people that we had a solar powered mower. They were fascinated about it until I showed them the "solar powered push mower."
I love it.
Excellent insite. Thank you. I write budgets, I don't analyze the derned things. If they balance, I'm happy. If they don't balance, I go back to work until they do.
And shame on you for trying to open the eyes of one of Iowa's most loyal Supply Siders.
Got it. Thank you.
Now if fourth quarter runs in the black for the Government, it's time to start screaming for bigger tax cuts!
My kinda thinking.
And thanks for the additional explaination.
What the heck! I going out to pull some weeds. Sarah's home. If I pass out she'll be more than happy to splash water on my face. LOL
Bummer that you're not feeling well. I'm in sort of the same predicament myself. My back and hips are annoying me today. I may go give it a shot anyway.
btw, I did the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance this morning with my 2 little gd's. Perhaps that's what's bothering my back and hips ;>)
And I had to stop at AutoZone on the way home to pick up a couple of lawn mower sized batteries for the Seed Tenders. I was definitely over dressed to be there. The first clue was that my clothes were clean. They kept staring at me. I could never fake it as a grease monkey. I was totally out of my element. And very glad to have my purchases in tow and out of there.
And now I'm off to attempt to do garden work.
Retired Army Col. David Hackworth, a decorated Vietnam veteran who spoke out against the war and later became a journalist and an advocate for military reform, died Wednesday in Mexico, where he was receiving treatment for bladder cancer, his wife said. He was 74.
Oh wow.
One more thing:
What is it with this dude who apparently was bedded down by the judge on the Talent Show (I don't watch TV except News and HGTV, so I'm at a loss for names here)?
Why is he telling a reporter she snuck up behind him and kissed him on the neck? Good Grief! Not likely she will do it again if he's going to kiss (or whatever !! ) and tell.
From what I've gathered from the reports, she's about 20 years older than him, so being of questionable character, she probably thought it would be 'fun' to see if she still had what it takes. It's amazing she's lived so long without learning that if you play with fire, you get your fingers (or whatever) burnt.
Okay, now I can go get my tush to work. I'll stop back when I come in to call 911 to carry me off.
Last year therewas rumor another judge was diddling. The upshot is "Who cares?" Paula Abdul has a lawyer speaking for her , who says it isn't true, etc, etc, etc.
This goes in the same category as the "runaway bride" . Not news now and never will be. But it's interesting that you should wonder. I think the answer is a generational thing. That is, in the respect that some are very interested, some just interested, some find it a passing fancy, and others just don't care.
I'm shocked.
Prayers for the family.
I have no idea what's going on with that show....never watched it.
Just a point of clarification...I've never watched American Idol either. It's been on the news about as much as the "runaway" story though.
Are you calling me OLD?
Thanks for the explanation. I think I fit the last part of your statement.
...MAGNITUDE 6.9 QUAKE IN PACIFIC OCEAN SOUTH OF PANAMA.
Standard & Poor's cut General Motors Corp.'s debt ratings to "junk" status Thursday, a move that will reduce the auto maker's avenues for raising funds as it struggles with global competition and rising health-care costs.
The ratings agency said GM's management strategies may be ineffective in addressing the company's competitive disadvantages, but that the company should have no trouble meeting its cash requirements in the near term. S&P also lowered Ford Motor Co.'s ratings to junk status
