You are right about that one! He is the smartest man I've ever met.

And as for the previous comment that Neets stated about his ego being the size of the Grand Canyon...well, I can tell you firsthand..some of his traits are bigger than most, but his ego is not one of them. He puts up with me, so patience most certainly is!....:)

Charles Krauthammer just said that Armitage endorses the Bolton nomination.

That is good news.

Lisa and I attended a fund raiser for Betty Montgomery tonight. Betty is currently State Auditor and a Republican Candidate for Governor. It was held at the home of one of Lisa's best friends. Lisa's friend's Husband is the county prosecutor.

Betty was pretty persuasive. I found myself in agreement with nearly every thing she wants to do in Ohio.

Betty has the brains to organize a grass roots organization. I was leaning to Ken Blackwell, but he is planning on running a media campaign. That will not get the job done.

I emailed Blackwell an offer of support. I got a form email back and a form request for money. I got several requests for my support from the Montgomery campaign and I never contacted them at all. Betty surprised me by knowing a lot of local people, and she spent several minutes with Lisa and I explaining her positions on the issues.

She says job one is Jobs. Job two is taxes on corporations especially sub chapter S corporations. She talked about education and fostering local people doing high tech start ups. She knows the days of recruiting big corporations to build plants in a state are gone with the GM Junk Bond rating.

We have lost 200,000 jobs and 300,000 young people in the last 8 years. They are leaving Ohio for jobs.

I am not easy to convince, but it hard to not support someone who shares all my views and the method to fix the problems

Well, Em felt well enough to go to work today, but I haven't talked to her since this a.m. so I'm not sure how she's doing. She said she was feeling better this morning, though.

I'm feeling worse.......just had to drag & push myself through the day today...........and unfortunately I've started coughing so that may mean an asthma episode in the near future.

I HAVE to keep going, though.....no choice..........

But for the night, I am done, thank goodness.

Welll...............I thought about it............

But I think I can handle it.

I'm pumping fluids, I'm taking Advil, I'm taking lots of rest breaks, and if the asthma kicks in I have everything i need here to deal with it.

I would go to the doctor if I thought I needed antibiotics but i'm not running a fever and don't feel THAT sick...........just miserable........ya know???

But if it gets worse, then, yes ma'am, I will see a doc.

When I used the expression that CommonTator "puts up with me,".... that was actually meant to be an endearing expression. Noone is perfect, we all have our flaws.

At the end of the day, I think it's the ability to work them out that makes the difference.

john, when I was in the Air Force, we called that scrounging, and we never told where we got it, who gave it to us, how it was put together or how much it would have cost, if we had to pay for it.
