Wait until the next round of oil hysteria from the media to pump up the price of oil, then short it.

Pay every single debt you have, even your house. Best investment you can make.

Long term or short term investment?
How much risk are you willing to take on your investment?

Real Estate. Anywhere you think a Baby Boomer would want to retire to. Put down 80k on a 160k house and rent it.
Real Estate in Fountain Hills AZ (5 golf course, near Indian Casino) has gone up 20-30% in the last three months.

I don't think any Western man has ever gone down the entire Congo River in a canoe. Maybe no African man either.
Seriously.
A fellow tried it a while back and didn't make it. He still wrote a book about it and made money from it. You could be the first. 80g would probably finance the adventure. You could make a profit from the book ;-)

Tithe 10% ($8,000) to Charity, but make it "hands on" charity that you personally oversee. Take the other $72,000 and spend every penny on a graduate school degree. Invest in your mind, the democrats can never steal that from you.

There is a piece of toast on EBay right now with the runaway bride's face on it. You can probably get it for a little less than 80G.
