Since the Bible God is advertised by Christians to be the only true source of wisdom, justice, and morality in the universe, it's only proper to examine what this "God" says about one of the major problems of our fallen human society.
The Bible God is declared the one true fountain of wisdom in the following: James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
The problem to be investigated is that of adultery and unfaithful spouses. God is quite clear about what should be done if a man or woman is caught in adultery. Deut 22:22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
This is part of God's Holy Law and there are no exceptions to this rule. The evil must be purged.
[As an aside, it's interesting that God let one of his favorite pet humans (David), circumvent this law when he committed adultery with Bathsheba. God decided to let David dodge the death penalty and killed David's child instead of David. That story is found in (2 Sam chapter 12). By killing David's child instead of David, God violated another one of his own laws which states: Deut 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Jesus also thumbed his nose at his alleged Father's moral and holy Law of Deut 22:22 when he excused a women caught in the act of adultery and let her off with a warning in John 8:1-11. However, God who is also supposed to be Jesus, had no problem ordering a man killed because he picked up sticks on the Sabbath. Num 15:32-36 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Apparently God practices ethics based on situation and not on absolute morality. Such is the nature of the Bible and it's cast of holy characters.

This is a straw man argument---- for one, the Bible is not "advertised by Christians" to be the ONLY true source of wisdom. There is that little thing called "common sense" which comes naturally to most folks with the possible exception of yourself.
It does offer information on the route to spiritual salvation in our view- that route being Jesus Christ, and not the efforts of mankind.
It's turned out to be an effective belief system in that since Christians don't believe in the perfectability of men through the hand of Man, we are thus a natural barrier to the most destructive ideology invented by Man, otherwise known as communism.
We're not forcing you to accept our faith, since Jesus pretty much told us not to jam our beliefs down other people's throats but to simply go on with our business, walking away from those who don't want to hear about God. The concept of the Trinity, which Muslims in particular have a hard time with, is not a three-headed God any more than you have three heads because you have a mind, body and soul. Nice try with the insults, though.

Personally I do not believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, nor do I believe in any God whatsoever.
Because I'm an athiest.
Yet I do not initiate needless confrontations with people who do believe such things, mocking them and their faith.

Jesus told the adulteress "GO, your sins are FORGIVEN."
You see, by the law you quoted, both the adulteress ADN THE ADULTERER would have had to be stoned.
She was the only person dragged out in front of Christ.

Jesus healed on the Sabbath because it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

Summary: God is a meanie and Jesus is fake.
Hmmm... So the life lesson taught to the rabid crowd that condemnation and salvation are reserved to God himself - and imperfect man could no longer pretend to be God - is Christ "thumbing his nose" at God?
Oh - and the new covenant instituted by the life, death, and resurrection of Christ don't figure into this dereliction of the old covenant?
Pray for understanding, and study (the whole Bible - not just those parts that you see as approving you) to show thyself approved.
