Just heard the weather for this week. Not supposed to get much above the mid-50's all week. We got a Nor'easter coming through on Wednesday with winds gusting up to 50mph! I'm just glad it's this week instead of next. Clare is going to a Homeschool camp next Sunday for a week in mid-state VT, and it's cold enough anyway, much less with rain and wind!
Make that the Great Wet North. Last summer was one of the coolest, wettest summers on record. Last winter was one of the coldest, snowiest on record. This year is starting out with temps 10-20 degrees below normal, and lots of rain.
This is not bad for crops, but grass grows like crazy, and it's hard to find a time when the grass is dry enough to cut without clogging the lawn mower.
Did I say how much I hate cutting grass?
Is that s'posed to be some sort of racial comment? :)
