Chocolate is, at this point, part of the problem, not part of the solution.
It's just the way I am... one or two days a month I get deep blue funk and I feel worthless for a day or so. I know how stupid it is but you can't just snap out of these things, can you? So I live with it.
Chocolate doesn't work?!
Not when you're shoving it in so fast you don't taste it ;-)
Hmmm.....
Maybe you should try petting kitties!
Hmmm, for some reason they ran away and hid.
I bought what should be a nice touchy-feely graphic novel, a series that has been known to get me almost to tear up at times, so I'll probably go read that. I wasn't feeling like this when I was at the library earlier so all the library books I got are shoot-em-up hard scifi.
Way aheada' ya there... :-) [sip]
I wouldn't recommend it for just anyone. But it works for me. :-)
mmmmmmmmm.... Pringles.... good call...
we'll let yuh know if'n there's anything else...
Ehhhh, I realized today that at this point, I have a grand total of three RL friends and tonight, there's nobody around to call and say "hey, let's do thus-and-such". Rosie's at a social (which is great) and the others are out of town...
Not just that, but they often leave cliffhangers unresolved; cliffhanger at the end of the season, next season starts and it's months or years later, and no mention is made of the previous season's cliffhanger.
I get migraines, although in my case I sometimes find it hard to tell whether it's a migraine or just a sinus headache. I do get sensitivity to light and sound, though, and one time I got a rippling corona-like effect around the edge of my field of vision.
Hmm... where're you at? Ft. Collins, right?
Try this: trolling for hippies. It's sorta like hunting, only different.
Get some birkenstocks, some tye-dye, and a sign that reads something incomprehensible about Palestine. Then make with the universal hippie warble call of "no blood for oil!" or something equally nonsensical. Wait for them to approach... and when you get a few within reach... pull out the Taser shocker. BAM.
It's even better if you get on local TV zapping one of them while yelling something about "hippies... hippies just tick me off... "
Unfortunately, almost all of the graphic novels I could recommend are superhero-based... and the ones that aren't are so, uhm, avant-garde that I hesitate to recommend them. But, I'll put in another plug for Elfquest, by Wendy & Richard Pini. There are multiple volumes and editions, and I'm not sure if Barnes & Noble's carries them, but if they do the first volume is titled "Fire and Flight". It's available both in large color volumes and manga-style black and white editions. The art is lush and the story is terrific.
I asked about that. The mailbox was nearly back to the parking garage, and far more hassle.
*sniff*... that's jest beautiful...
I bet she'd be good at it...
love yer tagline... we got some gutless turds in the senate... 'nuff said...
Heh... sorta like Emeril, the chef... BAM! Now... lets take it up a notch... BAM!
hehehe...
jest hold down on the button till fluids is comin' out every pore and orifice...
Problem being that some of the local hippies are sort of my professors and I don't think tasering them would be good...
But what an image! I'm giggling here...
Roger that. 06 is gonna be time fer a housecleanin'. :-)
