The Hobbit Hole XXI - ...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I'll get it checked if it happens again. And I will mention it to the doc next time I go in for a cholesterol check.

Good girl! ;-)

It's been a loooooong day. I nearly lost my Hobbit Hole knife to the TSA. Fortunately I had enough time to take it bake to the car.

I had gone through my briefcase, and removed the spare HH knife and everything else. I remembered to leave my swiss army knife in my desk.

As I was stepping up to the metal detector, I pulled my hand out of my pocket, and felt my knife catch on my wrist. The screener looked up, motioned me to come through. I just pulled it out and held it up, and told 'em I knew it would set the machine off.

OT brings her sauce, we'll have the wings...

Sauce: Tabasco, vinegar, butter. I can bring the Tabasco sauce. I usually drink tea or carbonated water....can bring teabags and the water.

egads ;~D

I've seen mail stations near the end of the lines at SeaTac... where you can stick any banned items in the mail if you don't want to lose them.

Mrsnad - I'm a water/OJ/Coffee drinker; LSA is baking us up a carrot cake in a bundt pan. Great for snacking. I'll be bringing that and anything else you want me too. How about a few tubes of pringles - they seem to travel well. :-)

G'nad: Got some halfmoon clips and box of .45ACP and some .45AR; horn of powder and shotbag for the firelock.
