The Hobbit Hole XXI - ...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Towards the Moon or to the Sun.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

The partition is ~roughly~ in the middle, the back space is bigger because of the angles involved. The partition swings open and you load one horse, close it, and load the second horse. It's just bars between them.

Ouch! No fun at all.

Well, like Hair said, if you want my car, its yours... but we don't deliver ;~D Been sitting under a tarp in the yard all winter, and it just needs a new battery.

Evening LF - the SW US is a beautiful place, surprising that many don't see the wonder of the deserts and mountains, with the endless sky during the day and the canopy of stars at night.

Evening Hair, That is SOME trailer, they have sure come along way from the loading gate & cross bar side days. That is quite a ride for the horses. It's a two horse model right?.

Well, yesterday was a wild ride. It appeared I might be headed for VA next week. Next thing I know, I was going to go to Tucson, where I could have mooted with my uncle.

By mid-afternoon it was maybe VA again. Now it's stay put, guys from our Atlanta and Las Vegas offices will cover the meetings.

Oh well.

Goooood morning. Am nibbling on whatever food I have in the hotel room - am too lazy to take a shower and go down to the breakfast - so it's cheese and crackers for me... for now.
