Insurance companies...hmph! They always give people such grief!
I pick up a rental car this evening! First one I've ever rented. Even though my car doesn't shake and shimmy like it did before I got it fixed, I still don't trust it. I rented this one to go to the Beetle salvage yard and I rented one to go to g'nads for Shootmoot.
Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful. A good day for salvage-yarding. And I spoke with the owner of the salvage yard and he's a nice older guy...very courteous on the phone.
I sure hope the insurance thing gets worked out.

Just got an email from my brother-in-law. His grandfather passed away this morning. Not unexpected. This is the brother-in-law whose mom committed suicide a couple of years ago. But this is his dad's father.
Of course it's not all about Corin, but this'll be my fourth funeral in two weeks...'scuse my language, but just damn.
Gotta go...

So sorry about that. I had a bad year of funerals a few years ago now... when my own family was dropping like flies.

Made a dentist appointment. It's the end of next month. Oh well...
Wonder if there's a buncha movies out that don't suck. I did a Saturday like that last fall...of course I don't remember the titles I saw that day, but I didn't walk out on any...four of them, with a break for lunch :)
It's too early spring yuck outside. Will be tomorrow too, and I'm going to Ka'zoo to look at gear, gadgets 'n' guns at a militaria show/sale.

Good morning! Late for most of you, I know...
I can't wait to be employed so I can have Fridays again. How sick is that? At the same time, I'm really kinda hoping I DON'T get offered that job. If I do before something else comes along, I'll pretty much have to take it, but I'd rather do something more low-key and closer to my previous jobs.

Pony is getting in her face here... p*ssed her off enough to make her get up and run her off...
So now she's up and eating. She's probably just tired. Those kids messing around last night kept everyone from getting a good night's sleep.
