You won't have "all" doing that because I won't, but some posters hit me like the guys or girls who sit in malls and endlessly write their grievances in a copybook in three colors of ink.

Actually, the Schiavo debate is the root of much discord here. One group was trying to save a human life. That can get pretty emotional, you know?
Now that Schiavo is permanently resolved, things will settle down. But you bet it had a transforming affect here. How could it not?
I like debate. I like counterpoints, even if some opinions really get on my nerves. But yes, that's not for everyone. Blog debate tends to be more rough than here, though. So get ready for things to get a lot worse if you debate on blogs.
