Reminds me of a bunch of sports fans chatting in complete denial that their team got utterly stomped.

Last I heard, they're working on a new album and may not have a tour this year, possibly in early 2006. I'm interested to see if their next tour sells out like the last one did. For those who forget, the last tour was sold out before they insulted their fans and no refunds were given ( how convenient ). This will prove if the left can save one's butt, because nobody I know will be buying them. I guess country wasn't good to them. / sarcasm

Let me also point out that there is no doubt in my mind that a question of this nature is paid for and placed by some member of the Skanks public relations/press agent's staff.

If the Skanks had kept to playing music instead of mouthing left-wing high scool propaganda, they'd still be making money. They chose to opt for anti-Americanism.

Using celebrity to influence publc politics cuts two ways. I have no problem with the Skanks music but, since I'd be supporting their politics if I supported their music, I naturally will opt for the anti-Skank alternative.

It kinda sucks... I used to like the Dixie Chicks until they got stupid and forgot who their audience was.

Here's a hint: they didn't get stoopid. They've always been that way. They just got a chance to reveal to everyone who they really are. Consider yourself a beneficiary of their stoopiditee.

I used to like drinkin' until I realized that it killed my motivation and peace of mind. So I gave up on it. You can give up on Natalie Maines, too. She ain't THAT good. I wonder about this. If they had kept their mouths closed, people would be listening to them and buying their music, and they would have quietly channeled their money to liberal causes. Is that better than coming out and just saying where they stand?

Tuned out. Most of what I have heard on their albums is the product of some really fine Nashville studio pros. Pickin Parlor dudes that can flat out play the socks off most touring musicians.
