Here's a hint: they didn't get stoopid. They've always been that way.

You're probably right...but I still liked their music, especially their last, more bluegrass-influenced album. Oh well. I haven't listened to them since their public display of idiocy, and I won't listen to them again.

Same here. As soon as I hear one of their songs starting on the radio, (which isn't very often, BTW) I immediately switch, cuz I don't need my blood pressure up again!

Well, good for you. The battle is mostly won. However, the recitivism rate among former Chicksters is pretty high. Don't let the sound of that banjo and mandolin woo you back. There are a lot of other banjo and mandolin players out there that are a heck of a lot better than they are!
