Woman sues Vick claiming QB knowlingly gave her STD

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- A woman is suing Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, claiming he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease. In the civil lawsuit, Sonya Elliott, who says she is Vick's former girlfriend, claims Vick gave her genital herpes in an April 2003 encounter.
In the complaint, Elliott, 26, seeks damages, alleging negligence by Vick, unwanted physical contact, pain, suffering and potential future medical complications.

There was also a case a few weeks back about high school wrestlers (five, I believe) who said they got it from the wrestling mat. That's their story and they're sticking to it.

She can't prove Vick gave it to her since 45 Million americans have one strain or the other so he probably declined to settle out of court.

Wow this is an old thread. I thought this was settled out of court. This is when the entire Ron Mexico thing came out. LOL!
Nevertheless, I don't see how he can held accountable unless he already knew he had an STD. Chances are I am sure she was not a virgin, and therefore could have caught it from someone else. Yet Vick is the only guy she can really cash in on...

He has apparently been receiving herpes treatment and testing under the name "Ron Mexico." Apparently what happens in Ron Mexico doesn't stay in Ron Mexico>
