FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- A woman is suing Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, claiming he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease. In the civil lawsuit, Sonya Elliott, who says she is Vick's former girlfriend, claims Vick gave her genital herpes in an April 2003 encounter.
In the complaint, Elliott, 26, seeks damages, alleging negligence by Vick, unwanted physical contact, pain, suffering and potential future medical complications.

I have a feeling if Michael Vick were a bus driver, there would be no lawsuit.
I'm so sure Michael Vick 'knowingly' put himself in a position to be sued.

In any event I find the idea of litigating over contraction of non-lethal, non-debilitating std's to be simply wrong. How on earth do you establish who told whom what when, if ever?
As far as orgasms, I guess it would have to be in a state where prostitution was legal and the plaintiff was the john.

Hopefully a court throws this out rather than allow a precedent for all kinds of post-relationship legal mischief.

You can save yourself for marriage, be 100% faithful in that marriage, and still get an STD. All it takes is for your spouse to cheat on you.

You can catch herpes from someone even when they're not having an outbreak. I read somewhere that 1 in 5 adults has it. Yuck. Talk about Russian roulette.
But Vick is going to find out what Kobe is finding out. When you don't keep it in your pants, say goodbye to all that endorsement money.
He should have heeded Toby Keith's new song, "What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico." lol We need to alert Doug from Upland for a good parody song.

Another thing I forgot to mention: herpes has been shown to survive in a hot tub environment, and there's been at least one documented case of a girl with eczema who contracted one of the benign strains from sharing a hot tub with someone who had fever blisters at the time. That's why I never go in hot tubs.
Maybe he will countersue and say he got it from her - unless he had herpes before he met her.
