Oh, by the way, Mae wants chicken sandwiches but to date, she has not had any due to the weak flap in her throat resulting from her Hospice stay.
Dr. Aqel did start her on mushy real food today.

I just love to hear that Miss Mae is doing so well. I think Beth just doesn't like the fact that she got outed for what she was doing to her grandmama. Who would? The important thing is that Miss Mae got what she asked for in her living will, food and water to be provided, and it is unfortunate that Gaddy didn't see fit to honor grandmama's wishes when she was "in control".

The rush to kill people who are not completely healthy chills me to the bone. It smacks too much of a eugenics campaign. Since foetuses became "disposable" other defenseless people became fair game.

I'm sure she does. I posted a reply about my mom on one of these threads, some time ago. She had Alzheimer's and dementia. Just up and caught pneumonia, and didn't want to breathe. In the hospital, she received IV fluids, and oxygen. She passed away on my dad's birthday. I went to the board and care facility to personally tell the nurses that mom died. When I mentioned that it was my dad's birthday, one of the nurses told me that 2 weeks prior to her sudden decline, she said that she was wanted to see her husband. She started crying...again :( She died on on God's time, no one else.

I agree with you. There is nothing to debate. They should not have starved and dehydrated Terry. They should not have prevented her from having therapy. They should not have prevented the staff from cleaning her teeth. They should not have kept the shades drawn, they should not have kept her in that room like a prisoner for years...but even prisoners get therapy, dental care, exercise, food and water...
THERE'S NO DEBATE BECAUSE WHAT THEY DID TO TERRI WAS MURDER!
And then 'they' tried to do the same to Miss Mae. For the rest of my life, I will continue to ask myself the same question:

It's disgusting. I talked with my aunt the other day. She retired from nursing, when they made it a law that you had to assist an abortiion. She told me incidences years ago, where greedy little shits would nudge for "more morphine" for grandma.
It's a sick world, where you just let someone rot in a bed, praying that your neglect will finish them off.
Expat, Mae is NOT eating chicken sandwiches...she is asking for them! She still has the tube up her nose.
I am on an email list, which passed on a letter from the nephew telling us what Mae is up to. It must be posted somewhere on this site.

And no matter WHAT happens to Mae down the road, she was LOVED and VALUED by her sister, brother and nephew.
God Bless Mae and the family that actually loves her and wants to honor Mae's end of life decisions as well as keep her around on earth for AS LONG as she wants to be here.

Me too and also people who are/were completely healthy like Terri. Now Jeb Bush is going to represent the U.S. at the inauguration of the new Pope at the Vatican.
Trying to end the life of an 81 year old who obviously has the will to live I'd say is undefendable.
