Freeper help needed...

My friend and his fiance have entered an online contest to win some money and prizes for their wedding. It's sponsored by a local publication, and the deadline is April 10th.

Voting is simple - no registration is required. Go the the link, and vote for Tricia Heist and Jake Wilson at the bottom right corner of the page in the dark grey box:

http://challengernky.com/people

They're a nice young conservative couple, and plan on having a traditional Catholic wedding. Please take a couple of minutes to help the kids out. They sure could use it.

Thanks!

Thanks for inviting me but I don't know any of those people. I suggest those 10 people have a bang-up orgy in the Hollywood Hills somewhere and the winner will be whoever walks on their own legs in a semi-conscious state?

Nice to see you, irate. Did you vote?

What you suggest is unethical.

How so?

This is part of a campaign.

cam·paign - n. 1.)A series of military operations undertaken to achieve a large-scale objective during a war: Grant's Vicksburg campaign secured the entire Mississippi for the Union.
2.)An operation or series of operations energetically pursued to accomplish a purpose: an advertising campaign for a new product; a candidate's political campaign.

Have I asked anyone to vote multiple times or engage in any other "Democratic" tactics?

Think of it this way: One or more of the other couples could be campaigning over on Democratic Undergound or similar site. We conservatives need to stick together, don't we?

Thanks in advance for your vote!

They are probably all good kids, and how many young couples just starting couldn't use $6,000.00?

Good point. I know my wife and I could've used it 13 years ago.

Perhaps that's why I'm so willing to help this young couple out - because we struggled so much in the beginning of our marriage. Hell, we're just now planning our first real vacation this Spring. Maybe it will make up for the honeymoon we never could take. Maybe we'll get a little rest from working 3 jobs between the two of us.

To be honest, I have other motives too - a hug and maybe a dance from the bride. (With my wife's permission of course!)

"Do you personally know everybody that you vote for in every election?"

Of course not. I vote for the choice that I know about that represents a forward-looking agenda. The rest of those choices are left blank. I can be bribed if one of those girls is an expert in sneaking around:) That't it! I'm voting for the sneakiest woman. OK, I'm in for $100. Odds?

They are a nice couple. May I make a suggestion before they imitate brown bears in mating season? Buy a titanium steel framed bed with a flat and hard mattress.

They're up now, but only by 2%. Gotta keep bumping. You know that other couple is pulling out all the stops with friends, family and relatives.

Here's a BUMP hoping they can stay in front, courtesy of their friend pocat and his friends here at FR.

There, I voted. Was kinda hard to locate the wedding poll, but I went and voted for your friends. After the effort I expended, they better have a long and happy marriage until death. :-)

"They're all nice couples and I wish them all the best, but none of them was conservative enough for me, from reading the answers. "

Generally, when the first baby comes, young people tend to get real conservative. They are young, haven't lived a lot yet, give em a break! Nothing like a little one to bring out the conservative in a person. Plus, they are getting married FIRST, that, in this day and age is a godsend!
