Hmm. Well, he kinda resembles a very young Connery. IMHO>

It looks as if he's reached job security.

It's an excellent choice. At one time I wanted Adrian Paul the guy from the TV series highlander. Ther may be one or two others who could do the job, but Clive will do justice and I think he may be a Connery-like bond.

Too bad. I was hoping Sean Connery can be cloned and become Bond again.

Oh, the Clive Owen from King Arthur! Now I get it, yeah, he was great in that movie! Good choice!

Jason Statham (The Transporter) would be a good choice too, but maybe not enough hair.

Now, back to Bond girls....

I've been touting Owen for Bond for the past four years. He's got the acting chops, the sense of humor, the cruel "I'll kill you" smile...

And with Casino Royale being the next flick, if they're serious about going back to basics, Owen is the perfect choice...

Just damn.

If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

In the next movie, Bond infiltrates and brings down a subversive ring of middle aged British housewives trafficking in BB guns thereby making England's streets safe for hoodlums.

A career killer.. James Bond WAS Sean Connery not the other around..
Course he could impersonate a young Sean Connery as a spoof..
That might work.. Nah! he'd come off as a metro-sexual..
Then he'd become a gay icon.. and a suffer queer end to his career..
