If Terri passes away soon, as I fear she will, I will remember this feeling of shame and despair about my country for the rest of my life. This, along with hearing about Roe vs. Wade when I was a kid, is an abomination.

Unfortunately, those who dismiss what's happening very casually are part of the reason for this country's moral slide.

Why, may I ask, are you here if you're tired of all the Terri Schiavo threads?

It's quite simple. Just don't click. I do appreciate the threads, although I don't read every one. Some are not worth my time, and others are just a general repeat.

I've called the FL senators, and we've continued to pray for Terri and her family.

I do hope that you'll come to recognize and appreciate the fact that you have that freedom......to just click, or take a walk, or eat a meal, unlike Terri, which is precisely why you're seeing all these threads. Not to mention the fact that Terri's being murdered.

I agree that there has been an atmosphere of obsession and hysteria connected to this case, but I have noticed a lot of long-time Freepers getting caught up in it - not necessarily just newbies.

Some people just have dramatic personalities when it comes to these kind of issues, I guess.
