ZOT! Taxing Pot...Could it solve the social security problem?
Posted on 03/21/2005 6:06:07 AM PST by FeebleAttempt
Why dont we just tax the heck outta pot and make it legal? i believe it would pay for my generation, and it would be all government controlled. You would have to be 21, i mean am i missing something here or are we missing an opportunity? If we just let go of this taboo crap we might get along without any social security problems. All the taxes from pot go to SS, what do ya think

Let's not forget your contribution to corporations such as Frito-Lay and Nabisco.

Why dont we just tax the heck outta pot and make it legal?I think by placing a high tax on pot, you will still get what is happening with cig's, a black market.

I'm not sure if a lot of heavy-breasted, confused males could support the baby boomers in their dotage. Why don't we just tax divorce and unwed parenthood? Hollywood alone could keep us in clover.

i suppose all you drunkies out there are just fine with your habit cause its legal. but it hurts more than pot ever has, i may smoke like a slob, but i dont contribute to 70% of driving fatalities. The drug hotline forum is down the hall and to the left, kiddo.

Probably, but I don't know for sure. This would by a fine comment to a WosD (War on some Drugs) thread and I'd agree with you. But as a vanity thread for a newbie this is crap.

No offense, but I think you should spend more money on grammar and punctuation lessons and less on dope.
An "I" is supposed to be upper case, and in every instance.
(Hmm, why is it that all pot heads either can't spell or their punctuation stinks? Couldn't be the drugs could it... nah.)
