I thought Carrie started out a bit off. She probably will knock out Vonzell, but Bo is taking over the number one spot.

Bo has hs comfort range (apx 2 octaves) and he pretty much stays in there.

But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Why go out of your range and hit a clunker? Also, Bo owns the stage and he knows it.

Bo (I believe wisely) instead pushed his musical range by going acapella. And I think that will make him the next AI.

It isn't the singing anymore -- it is the intangibles.

Yes, he's talented, as my wife tells me non-stop on Tuesday nights.

It's just that I've heard lots better.

Carrie is my pick and has been since her earliest performances.

I didn't know that. They have first option on the top ten or what?

I still want to hear Bo sing Iron Man (or White Room).

she does have a heck of a voice!

You mean she sings? Who knew?!?!?!?!

If I were a betting man, my money would be on Bo - for a couple of reasons I argue with those who care - but I sure like to watch...I mean...listen! to Carrie!

That is my feeling about Carrie also. I did a mental moan when they announced which song she would sing.

I adore Carrie, but I thought she switched keys on that last song WAY too many times.

Sounded like she was trying to figure out which key she felt most comfortable in...in the middle of the song??

As a musician, will you tell me whether Bo's kind of music is out of date? We listened to that stuff decades ago; musicians cut their hair decades ago, He seems so retro to me, I truly marvel at all the pro-Bo comments here as I find him totally ho-hum, more a lounge act than a star. What's his appeal?

But admittedly, I'm not much of a music fan today.

He didn't take may chances vocally, and never really does.

I agree. With of all his experience, you'd expect a bit more than sunglasses and a microphone.

Bo definitely wins Round 2. That had to be one of the best Idol performances ever!

I believe Bo and Carrie both have a career in the music industry already sewn up, so I'll vote Carrie. She's more pop idol material (it pertains to image, as well), and Bo is more a rocker.

She sounded a little strained. She was trying too hard to be Stevie Nicks or Melissa Ethdridge.

You can vote for two if you want to...IMO, if Bo and Carrie are the final 2, I'm happy with whomever is the "IDOL". I'll vote for Bo and Carrie tonight.
