I have to admit, sorry to say, that when the first AI was on air I did not watch. I laughingly thought that Kelly Clarkson wouldn't last long. But I am glad she did. I have liked several of her songs and she still seems untouched from all the fame. Not sleazy like Brittney. I hope she maintains that image and doesn't do things to shock the public.
That's true! :) Unfortunately when I think of journalism students, I think of Katie Colonic and the like! Shudder...so glad her dream came true for her.
A belated Happy Birthday to you, jonny. Hope it was a good one!
And country music is over populated right now with slightly heavey pie faced blonds.
Not looking good.
I was thinking she could always fall back on journalism if she needed to. We can always hope that she would be another conservative voice in journalism.
With Carrie being from Checotah odds are she's rather conservative.
Me, too, Emily. At the moment, Kelly is in the Persian Gulf to entertain our troops. She went over with a group of NBA stars and other entertainers. She just finished her first solo tour in May, then went to England for the release of "Breakaway" there. So no one would blame her for taking a much-deserved vacation. But she went out of her way to visit our troops. That, alone, makes her A#1 with me.
LOL! You may be right. I'm not a huge country music fan, although I do respond to a good song such as Mongomery Gentry's decidedly rock-like "Gone," and Keith Urban's "Making Memories of Us." In fact, I liked the latter song so much that I bought the album it's from. But the album is mostly disappointing. Yet Urban was the big winner at the recent country music awards.
Oh brother. You know, Constantine grossed me out pretty badly on the show, but I heard a clip of him singing without having to see him.
I was shocked to find out that I liked it.
Hi Emily! Yes, I noticed jonny's tagline and complimented him on his excellent taste. :-)
I know it will be changed soon, but jonny and I will always have early June 2005. :-)
Do you think that is going to hurt her any?
I have been listening to Bo without watching him and I am finding that he is more enjoyable to me without having to watch him cart that microphone stand around. That really turned me off to him.
I'm also finding that Constantine sounds great if you don't have to watch him. :-)
(nothing helps Mikalah though)
NET! I'm so glad to see you. I've missed seeing your posts.
Hope you are doing well.
"Livercrotchie" just cracks me up! Little kids are so funny.
I love my Time Warner DVR. We use it every single day for one thing or another. Usually just rewinding to hear some dialogue we missed, or pause when the phone rings.
Did you find some way to transfer it to audio tape via the machine or just holding your micro by the speakers?
You give much more than you receive, whether or not you realize it.
That is so true. He is one of the most personable posters on FR as far as I'm concerned.
(jonny, don't feel obligated to comment, I just didn't want to talk about you behind your back. )
LOL! That was so funny.
I'm hoping to hear something from Anthony and Scott soon.
I also think Constantine wasn't all that interested in American Idol. He probably was just looking for exposure don't you think?
I could hear Carrie's accent as I read that!
Oh lord. You're back.
Back and accurate. A great combination. Have a nice night Texas.
