In Cancun.
Sorry -- but sacrifices had to be made :)

She was so cute on Leno. Made me like her even more. Matt Lauer (puke) seemed a little enchanted.

I thought that dress was absolutely stunning. She is the best looking Idol so far. Cute as a button.
To: conservativebabe
She's what Simon was hoping he could turn Carmen Rasmussen into. I wasn't sure how to spell her name, so I googled what I thought was right (it was) and the first result is a page of high school graduation photos. I think Kimberly Locke went to it. That's her, right? I wonder if she sang there or something?

And, BTW, I hear Carmen's CD isn't at all bad, like you'd expect based on how she was live in Season 2.

I think so.
Carrie has it all over Carmen looks wise though. Carrie is one of those natural beauties that make the rest of us a bit jealous.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Carrie gets some sort of deal with say, Covergirl cosmetics or something like that, along with other endorsements.

What do you think of the Idol single for this season? I have heard some criticism of it, but I really like it. I think it is a beautiful song and will definitely by the single.
I think it fits Carrie's style very well also, it fits into the country-pop genre nicely. When she sang it, you could definitely detect the country element that she brings to it.

Inside Your Heaven is growing on me, but I really like Angels Brought Me Here. It was a #1 smash hit in Australia already for a reason. It's a good song.
If you haven't heard her songs since Wednesday, I just put these up for you:
Carrie Underwood - Inside Your Heaven (as the confetti is falling, with the cute "Thank you, America!" at the end)Carrie Underwood & Rascal Flatts - God Blessed the Broken Road
Carrie Underwood - Angels Brought Me Here (Wednesday night superior version without cracked note from crying at the end)
For comparison, these are Guy Sebastian's versions of it. He won Australia's first Pop Idol, so he's their Kelly Clarkson.
Guy Sebastian - Angels Brought Me Here (studio version)
Guy Sebastian - Angels Brought Me Here (live version, with an almost completely different vocalization-- like a gospel version)
Enjoy.

In an interview this morning, Bo's mom said he has signed a contract with Clive Davis and RCA. Said he will have some control in his albums, the songs and type of music. Bo indicated in an interview that he will be writing some of his own songs.

That's awesome. I had a feeling Clive was ready to pounce. Glad he did. Bo deserves it.
Also, thanks for the song links, I will enjoy them again!
To: Veto!
I liked Ronstadt and Aaron Neville.

I don't remember Neville. At least not by name. What did they sing?

They did a couple, I think, but my favorite of theirs was "I Don't Know Much (But I Know I Love You)." Really beautiful.
