Huh? The Huskies are only #1 in their region. They are #4 in the overall tourney. Illinois is #1 overall, then North Carolina, then Duke, then the Huskies.

Hey, nice graphic. I'm a UW alum and very proud to be today. Who'd have guessed a few short years ago that the Huskies would win only one football game, but be a #1 seed in basketball?

I actually think that sports needs its own forum on Free Republic---I think that there are so many sports fans, and so many good sports events to comment on, that a separate forum could work and keep me from having to look around for these threads and keep from having multiple threads---

I'm watching hockey right now. (CCHA playoffs, Spartans vs Ohio State, no score). In the NCAA's, I got Nevada/Texas, Texas Tech/UCLA, Iowa St/Minnesota, and Cincinati/Iowa wrong.

Iowa is my only really bad loss, as I have them going to third round upsetting Kentucky. The other losses I have were teams I have losing in the 2nd round.
