I'd guess you saw a late '04 summer fawn.....Unless everything's gone wacky this year....

Looks like the trees have green leaves on them outside the window. Gotta' be from '04.

The fawn I saw was still wearing his/her dots. Just this week, Mr. Okie was witness to a car/deer accident at around 10 am.

Very sweet.

My Golden is very gentle with small animals. He loves cats and tries to befriend squirrels.

Good dog, Hogan!

Fawns are a dime a dozen. I am oohing and ahhing over the Ridgeback. Great dogs. I had 2 of them, Odie and Hazel, I still miss them and they have been gone 15 years.

Don't let the local DNR see this (or at least don't tell them the area) or that fawn will be in trouble.

I got an e-mail sent to me months and months ago, but only of the first picture, not the others. The story THEN was that a family found the fawn on their steps and left it alone for several hours until the mother retrieved it. They believed she put the fawn there because with the flower petals on the steps of the deck it looked like a good place for the fawn to blend in.

But who cares? The pics are awful sweet, no matter what the story behind it.
