I believe your child is with the Lord, and you can always ask the Lord to tell your child how you are feeling now (He probably already has) and to ask your child's forgiveness. And ask the Lord to let you know you are forgiven, and then, honey, you need to forgive yourself. Confess and forsake, get your past to the cross, and that's all the Lord requires. He loves you.
"I believe your child is with the Lord,"
You know what? I think I can verify that aspect. This is slightly off-topic, cuz it's not abortion-related, but same effects.
My best friend of 25 years was trying to have a baby starting several years ago. To get to the chase on that, she's had several miscarriages before finally having her (adorable) baby boy.
I remember her telling me of her 1st miscarriage after it. I talked to her a little later.
My friend is not AT ALL a religious person; she's never been raised w/any real respect even for church-going or anything, and often seems to make fun of or characterize certain religious people in stereotypical ways.
On the phone, she told me she had had a dream after the miscarriage. In it she was in a bare light room with a light doorway; nuns came through. 1 nun came directly to her and told her not to worry or get too upset, that God has her baby.
I don't recall more details, but that was the gist of it as it was very short and simple.
This coming from my friend was a shock to me - and even through several more miscarriages, she never got really upset.
