Maybe we can find someone that gives lessons.

I'd like to learn, too! I can figure out how to sew on a button, but that's as far as I've ever gotten, and I'd really like to be able to make simple things.

I figure my problem is twofold: 1, I can't cut, and 2, when I use a needle it ends up in my fingers. Theoretically it's not hard, with a pattern. I even made a skirt once. It took like six months and didn't look that great.

Find a fabric or sewing machine store. If they don't give lessons they will know who does.
