Just got an email from Djerry in Djibouti. The Camillus CQB1 with his name and our new Hobbit Hole logo just arrived. After reading the second half of his email, I've come to the conclusion that all we have done still isn't enough to express even a fraction of the gratitude owed to him and others like him.
I just got back from my R&R and there were two packages waiting
for me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the knives. I am not
used to people doing things for me and to have a blade with my name on it is
a bit overwhelming. I will continue to pass out the blades to deserving
troops in the name of the Hobbit Hole. From all of them, thanks for the
good work.
My family was happy to see me but I worked too hard on the honey do's and
was almost glad to get back here. It is a shame that I can't make a decent
living back home in Mississippi but once you get to your mid 50's people do
not want to hire you. This is the best that I can do for my family and it
is good that I can do it for them.
Again, thanks for everything.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the knives. I am not used to people doing things for me and to have a blade with my name on it is a bit overwhelming. Sure am glad he's appreciative, but that "not used to people doing things for me" should shame the entire country. It does me.
Thanks for sharing 300wm.
