Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yup, see 'em just fine here. That's odd. They're not loading here. This afternoon when that was happening at the office I closed the browser and they were there when I came back.

My brain is now allowed to disengage, I have the material for the test more or less internalized.
Our movie was good!

Interview? Good luck with it!
I'm not working tomorrow or Friday, but have to try to get ready to drive starting at Midnight, Friday, and probably Saturday night too.
I'll be really glad when this project is done, I don't adjust well to the night shift.

Serenity is a movie based on the "Firefly" tv series, and it will be coming out this summer. We got the discs from Netflix. It's truly a space western, and it's a LOT of fun.

That steaming turd of a movie is another.Hmmm, I enjoyed it, but my perception is largely based on the score... one of my all-time favorite John Williams scores.

Yep, interview tomorrow at two.
Been awhile since I did an interview. Hope it's straightforward and doesn't include toooooo many trick questions...

Just relax and be yourself. Trust in your knowledge and abilities, and trust that if it is meant to be, it will be.

Just caught up on TAR.Heh... once again, a team is undone by a wrong turn. I was really glad to see them go, they were annoying me greatly.
I just re-read part of a graphic novel that used to be a real favorite of mine, but which I hadn't read in... I can't remember how many years. It's fascinating to me that I can read something that I first discovered in what I consider my childhood, and still feel the magic that I felt then, after so many years and so many experiences.
A very special feeling.
