Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Good! And it will seem like cosmic injustic if they win.

Well... I don't know if I would go so far as saying it would be a "cosmic" injustice. As the saying goes, "fortune favors the bold", and that certainly is one way to describe Rob ("bold", I mean).

I don't think he's bold... vile is more like it. Besides, they've won once, how often should evil be rewarded?

Well, I was thinking "bold" as used in "bold-faced liar".

I think "bold" is a good thing, but you're right, boldly evil is still evil.

but you're right, boldly evil is still evil.I never used the word "evil"... In Survivor, deception and trickery are part of the game, and he played that game very well. I find it interesting that he's found ways to use the same talents in AR.

Nope, I used the word evil. I think he is! For ruining some of my enjoyment of TAR, at the very least!

Good night! Sleep well! Thanks for not spoiling anything... except that Rob didn't get his lousy self eliminated, but that's more an inference on my part.

Morning! 'nother boring day at work.
I got the big 5-in-1 version to read recently since I had not read the Guide since I was a kid. I hope the movie does not suck too much.
To: TalonDJ
Good morning!
I have never read it, which I find amazing, because it's something I obviously "ought" to have read...
