Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Self check outs are great! They even have one at the library here.
No Amazing Race spoilers, hear?
And I found an excuse to exchange a few words with CuteChoirGuy - they need sound system volunteers...

Sadly, yes. Studying utterly boring stuff for Thursday's exam.

I was going to describe my reaction to the show, but then I thought that might give too big of a hint. ;)

At this point I'm not cheering for anyone, I'm rooting against the survivor idjits. Can't stand those two. I want to see them beaten in a foot race to the finish line. By both other teams.

Heh... I couldn't stand Rob when he was on "Survivor", but he's amusing me on AR. He's just so crooked... he's already scammed the other players a couple of times, which you must admit no previous player has managed to do! I have to admire that kind of chutzpah, even if I don't like it. ;)

Heh. Sorry. I'll try to be more muted. :-)
In the future I'll try to refer to it only as "The Big Spit" or the "Technicolor Yawn". :-)

That reminds me... I need to track down the MST3K bit where Joel and the Bots start trading euphemisms for "vomit"...

I don't like him at all. He's annoying, arrogant, and completely unlikable. Also I have a gut reaction to certain Freepers who go all swoony over him - ew!
