My mom forwards me some pretty funny jokes every once in a while.
BEIN' GOOD
One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on. So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.
When he returned, he told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not."
God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion." So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time too.
When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good."
God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because He wanted to encourage them. Give them a little something to help them keep going.
Do you know what the e-mail said ?

I had a Girl Scout leader meeting last night, then came home to watch "House, MD" on Fox. Have you seen that show? It's really interesting. It's a hospital drama, that's also sometimes pretty funny, starring Hugh Laurie as a real misanthrope Internist who gets the really wierd cases and he and his team have to figure out what's wrong with them.
Ok...got that fixed then! Rented a car through carrentals.com for Shootmoot!

We're off! Going for a bus ride up to the airport and back, just to check it out. I'm thinking of taking the bus up to pick up the rental when we need to.

I think her flight arrives around 10:30 local. It took longer to get to the airport than I'd thought, so they had only an hour until the flight. Hope everything went ok, they should be in the air by now.
Ugh. And it's only nine o'clock.
OK... I'll call and set up our plans this evening sometime to meet up with her tomorrow.
Cool. She'll like that. I made her take her computer so maybe she'll have internet access too.
I thought so too. It's even better when it's told in conversation.
We wanna do shootmoot, but finances may dictate otherwise. For now, it is still up in the air.
We're in the same boat, and a boat isn't probably the right vehicle to get to shootmoot ;~D.
Still not certain if we'll make it. ecurbh won't have the vacation time with his new job, and we may not have extra money with the new horse trailer that is our Priority Number One, before even housing and food at this point ;~D
