We're vey fortunate in that we don't have to haul leaves or branches anywhere. Our lot is 350' deep, so we just haul the stuff back to 'Mordor'. That's beyond the small drainage ditch that runs across the yard about 200' behind the house. We extended planks across the divide and call it the Bridge at Khazad Dhum.
See a pattern there? ;o)

Which LG phone is it? I have the LG VX6000 which has a camera in it. I've only used it once, though, when the kids and I went to the LOTR exhibit at the Mus. of Science in Boston.

When we wanted to get Joseph and Clare cell phones, there was a "buy one, get one free" on this particular model, so we all got the same phone. Helps tremendously because we got one car charger and we can all use it when needed!

I usually don't like Starbuck's coffee; seems over roasted to me, but I found one type that I love. It's their "Winter Blend" and BJ's sells it in a 2# bag. Before they discontinue it for this winter, I might get a few bags and pop them in the freezer so's I can enjoy it til it comes back around next winter! ;o)

We have Hazardous Waste Collection days about once a year in our town. Great for disposing of old alkyd paints and misc. extra strong cleaning supplies.

I need a coffee grinder muffler...

Fold a kitchen towel over twice, then lay it over the top of the grinder. It doesn't completely muffle the sound, but it helps!

Early Sat. afternoon funkle!! We just dragged out of bed about an hour ago. Dang that new mattress is SO comfortable! I was working off a sleep deficit from earlier in the week.

You waited this long to unpack The Toaster? Not good.

It's a VX3200 - a lower end phone, but still closes and has the color screen. It was free with the contract.

It's only a two-slotter. Can't be too dangerous.

We're going to compromise on the hiking and the trip to Denver by taking the scenic route through the mountains and, if the weather holds, stopping at the side of the road for little scenic overlook hikes.

If I get a job soon, I'm gonna get some coffee from the place we went yesterday - Colorado Coffee Exchange. It just might have been in the top three cups of coffee I've ever had. They roast the beans in the store...kewl! I had the French roast...lovely, lovely complex flavor. Almost chocolately. Mmmmmm!

It's something like nine dollars a pound, though.

And it's out on the counter while we're out! Margaret plugged it in. I'm not sure if that means it's sort of on-leash...or if it means it will power up and wreak havoc whilst we're away. Who knows? Eek!

Exactly...that's exactly what he's doing. He does abscond with some pretty neat stuff, though...like a full set of oil paints, in tubes, you know? Like what artists use? With the pallet and everything!

He said they usually have a bunch of automotive stuff dropped off but he previously had no use for it!

We're at the library. Matthew's Star Wars book came in and he's pretty excited! It's a hugh book...his first real "novel" to attempt on his own.

I love coffee. I ground my own (plain old Folger's beans) for our coffee this morning. We were out of Aldi's brand.

The camera was neither here nor there for me. I wanted to be able to see who was calling before I opened the phone, because once it's opened, it's answered. The VX6000 was the lowest end phone that did that. Joseph programmed some ring-tones for me so that by the ring tone, I can tell who's calling. ;o)

Are those the paperback Star Wars novels? Paul enjoyed those when he was younger.
