The Hobbit Hole XX - And take the hidden paths that run...
The Freeper Hobbit Hole ^

Posted on 03/05/2005 11:51:13 AM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And take the hidden paths that run...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I had a headache too...earlier. Took some Advil and it went away. Some guy from the VW club called me to tell me he had some wheels (wheels, not just tires) I could have...I was pretty tickled but then I got a headache.

Any day I'm just gonna stroke out, you just watch. LOL!

"You mean, I can have those wheels? Seriously? That's GREAT...ACK ACK ACK Kuh-THUNK!"

LOL That's true!

He was looking on my blog and saw that one of my wheels was messed up. Bent up, you know? And one of the others doesn't really go with the car...it's just a wheel off something else. So I would like at least two, I can use the one that doesn't really go as a spare.

He said he thought he had 'em and he's going to check his warehouse and see and get back with me.

heh. Now you'll probably get more spare parts than you need.

We're all back from ordinary adventures. Rosie's working on getting her wireless card set up.

A few bucks a month for your peace of mind sounds about right to me!

The sun came out. I'm washing clothes.

I got the kitchen cleaned up and the livingroom dusted. If I can keep the house spiffy till the weekend I won't feel bad about not doing too much then! LOL!!

I think so too. It won't take much to get it up to worth $2K...Running, redo the interior.

The body is the last thing we'll do and it'll be very expensive. We'll up the coverage when that gets done.

Those air mattresses are fairly comfortable if you can get 'em warm enough.

Ah.

Too bad I can't get this queen size bed to you that's out in my shop! Gotta frame and everything!

Unfortunately it smells like Eau de Coléoptère.
