Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,

I can't get my thrills from human suffering.Well, if suffering is the issue... can we wish for a sudden, massive heart attack? I had an uncle go like that... he and his wife came home from a party, he went into the living room while she went into the kitchen. She was talking to him from one room to the other when she heard a noise, went in to the living room to see what was wrong and found him dead on the floor. No warning, no pain, just "thud" on the floor.
ok, ok, just kidding about wishing it on anybody... mostly...

I remember my former pastor saying that that's how he wants to go too.
To be just strolling along then POW!...and wake up in the presence of the Lord. And the feast, of course.
He is a heavy-set fella and has no shame about loving to eat. :-D
