Home is behind, the world ahead,

Through shadows to the edge of night,

I don't like mice. Children of my generation were educated about their evil plans to take over the world via "Pinky and the Brain" cartoons long before we learned their true nature in HitchHiker's Guide.
Dolphins are pretty cool, though.

As smart as Slarty (as we called him) was, he ultimately fell to the grand human machine he's built around him. He enjoyed a great deal of personal freedom around the dorm room... until this one party.
Seems there were too many dancing footses and too many (1) mouses in the same place at the same moment in time.
It was very sad, inasmuch as Slarty really did seem to be a big Who fan, but it was just one last refrain of "5:15" that did the little guy in.
I'd like to think it was the song he'd have preferred to go out with... but maybe that's just me.
