Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Eeek... mine was $200.... good to find out, and good to find out if you can adjust the coverage or deductibles enough to have it be affordable, yet there for you in an emergency.

Quite frankly tho, I think it wouldn't be a bad thing if he went the military route and did college later. Some folks are just not ready for college when they're finished with high school. They need to be out in the world of work to see if they can figure out what it is that they want to do with their lives. Then they can see if a four year degree is what they need or if what they want to do might only require a two year degree, or none at all.
Y'all are wise parents.

Sorry about that Rosie. Did they say whether or not they might consider you if something else comes up?

Wife took Nana for her pre-surgery hospital visit today.
Good news: There's a Starbucks right outside the surgery center...

You remember when the jedi's Imac crashed here while back? Well, when my dad just came by to pick up the boys, I took it out to the car so they could get it fixed...they know how to work on stuff like that. I am clueless when it comes to Macs.
First time I've seen my dad in nine months.

As far as I know. The house has been on the market all this time and won't sell, I guess. I imagine they'll tell the boys sometime or other if they are moving but you never know.
I hope it's soon. Can't be soon enough for me.

I'm back from the closing!
I'm stinkin' rich!
Well...not quite...but I'm happy I came out of that with plenty to tide me over until I have a job. Woo-hoo! And the buyers are really nice folks, too.
