Heh! I couldn't explain to my mom "Hey Mom...I'm just a wacko-magnet!" When that girl broke in my dorm room wanting money, and started to beat me up, the one I hit with box fan...I'd been studying for an anatomy test the next day. Just sitting on my bed studying. That fan, when it hit that girl slammed down on to my forehead and nearly knocked me silly. Knocked a gash in my own head! (These fans are plastic now, but they used to be metal.)
She took off, stole a car and just took off. I called home all upset and my mom said I had to have done something to make her mad at me.
Sigh.
Don't take this the wrong way - but it sounds to me like your mom's as flaky as the rest of the weirdos.

At least you're used to dealing with flakes. I would probably go g'nad on them and end up getting arrested.

My last five minutes or so of home high-speed internet. Almost all is out of the house...we're just sweeping and such, and then I'll be out of her forever. Gah...though I've had plenty of annoyances here, I'm really, really gonna miss the ol' place.

I just called and arranged for the internet people to come turn me off at the current place and on at the shared place on Friday...

I still need to get a wireless card. Someday soon, I guess. Or if we stop anywhere along the way with a Best Buy, I could get one there.

I'm really proud of that blog. You guys aren't the only ones that see it, also the guys from The Samba see it and so that's why I'm asking questions. Someone from over there might be able to answer. Also, people from the Tulsa VW club check it out too.
It's a lot of hard work for just a short time and only every week, sometimes even less. But I'm glad I got it done early this week!
We really have a good time working on it.
Meh. I did really, atrociously badly on a midterm in one class; it's a boring class and takes way too much time. So I have a week to decide to drop it or not... crap, but if I did worse on another midterm maybe I should drop that class... I have to keep my gpa up, after all, so this matters...
I wish I knew how I was doing in the one important class with the guy I'd like to be my advisor....

I've decided on a color for the bedroom - "Chatham Green." It's actually a taupe with a greenish tint.
And I've decided to work on my dried pea/bean colllection. Wonder how long it'll take me to use up all the already-opened bags.
