I am in the process of writing a musical tribute to the work of our military in Iraq, and I am needing quotes from our history that would apply to the mission these soldiers are facing.
I am specifically wanting the quote about the Tree of Liberty needing to be watered with the blood of tyrants.
Also, any quotes from our history that has to deal with the issues of freedom, sacrifice, the value of living in America; American family life, heroism, selflessness, the values we are fighting for (protecting our freedoms of religion, speech, property, travel) etc.
I know that Freepers can help me out.
Thanks,
Trombone
BTW, its 2:13AM here... not many are awake...
