Terri's parents would be able to petition an honest judge to remove Michael's guardianship. An honest judge would find that a severe conflict exists between Michael's interests and those of his ward, and would thus terminate his guardianship, probably giving it to either the parents or the siblings.
An honest guardian would be able to have Terri examined by honest doctors and given therapy and treatment. If Terri were taught to swallow, it wouldn't matter if anyone ordered her feeding tube removed.
Unfortunately, Terri has a crooked guardian, a crooked lawyer, and a crooked judge. Take away the crooked judge and the corruption unravels.

Judge Greer is the one who put blinders on to most of the evidence, and is deciding to kill Terri. He is ALSO SCHEDULING to kill her 1st, and then decide her guardianship case later.
Father Frank, who witnessed Terri's condition earlier THIS MONTH, said Michael should give Terri up to her parents, and issued a CALL-TO-ARMS for all people of God to help Terri - HERE! - - It was VERY powerful!
and then he said this:

We don't hate you. There is no reason to hate you, or anybody else. You're not our enemy. But you are captive to the enemy, right now. He has deceived you into thinking that you have an authority that you don't have, Michael. You don't have it. You don't have any authority to starve Terri. You don't have any authority to abandon her. Like the rich man in today's gospel, who abandoned Lazarus, you don't have that authority. And I urge you, even at this late hour, to repent. We are not against you. We are for life. Your life, Terri's life, everybody's life.
And if you continue down this path of error that you've been on for a long time, you're not ultimately going to win anything. You're not ultimately going to benefit yourself, or anybody else. In fact, what you're doing at this moment is posing as a threat, to civilization itself. And you can't knock against that wall, without ultimately destroying yourself. There's still time, to change your mind, and to change your heart, and to be at peace. A peace which you so need, and which ultimately you so desire. And we are praying, not only for Terri, but for you. And we trust in the power of God's grace, to change your mind and heart, even today.

Terri starts out apparently asleep. A doctor wakes her to start his tests.

Is it possible that the judge has studied all the facts carefully and determined that the subject is indeed braindead?
Would a judge really order the death of someone who could still be saved?
That doesn't look like a persistent vegetative state or primitive reflexes, unless you're blind. Maybe it's a case of "They're none so blind as those who refuse to see".

What do you think? All of the doctors who have examined Terri in person agree that she is responsive, to one degree or another. Even the doctors who have been misquoted to support euthanizing her.

I've heard that Judge Greer is legally blind. May be you are closer to the truth than you know.
No, to your first question, and yes to the second.
These were made for the hearing in 2001. The doctor examing Terri is one for Michael's side. Note how he says how good Terri is doing on the video, but in the courtroom changes his testimony, because he was paid by Michael. He's a big-time euthanasiast, Dr. Ronald Cranford.
