According to local newspapers, Randy Moss is leaving for the Oakland Raiders.
As a Packers fan, I say "Good Ridaance"!
Opinions anyone?

He should fit right in, then.
As a Packer fan I am not so sure. I don't think the Viqueens could actually ever win with him. Perhaps they can without him. I hope he fails miserably in Oakland.
Perfect team for him---and as an NFC fan, glad to get rid of him---
I agree.
The entire outlaw, thug, out of control, self-absorbed routine.
Yes, he'll fit in well.
Perfect place for him.
This Raider fan does not want him unless he can change his attitude. And I do not think that is going to happen.
I'm a Viking fan. I hope this trade fails so Moss can keep torquing the smelly Cheeseheads. ;^)
The Vikes are gonna have trouble with the new owner..seesm his financials, and his background are less than perfect, far from it, but will the NFL have the coyones to, dare I say it, "blackball" a prospective minority owner..?
Good riddance to bad garbage. Al Davis is completely insane. Let's see what happens when you get the baddest players in the NFL and put them all in the same locker room. A bad owner can destroy a team for decades, see Bill Bidwell and Dan Snyder (not meant as a shot at either of those teams. Just wish a responsible owner would take over and make them competitive.) Sid Hartman: Fowler says Moss won't be dealt
February 21, 2005
Reggie Fowler was on a plane to New York from his Arizona home on Sunday morning. The man who is in line to buy the Vikings from Red McCombs was headed for a meeting with his partners in the prospective purchase, and also intended to meet with some NFL officials.
Fowler spoke about some of his plans for the team, and made it clear that his group would have no plans to trade Randy Moss, who has been the subject of trade talk since late in the season.
"I think we all have to have a set of standards," Fowler said. "I think Mr. Moss is, if not the finest, one of the finest receivers in the league today. And I think he's a winner. A lot of times when you want to win, you get excited.
"So I look forward to working with Randy, and I think he'll do all the things we need him to do. I don't know that you take some of the best players in the league and start trading them. We need those people to help us win, and I think Randy's one of those guys."
Fowler and McCombs had a news conference on Monday to announce the sale. There were questions about some items in Fowler's biography, and he returned to Minneapolis to meet with reporters Friday to explain them. On Sunday, a story in the Star Tribune examined his businesses and reported on a number of lawsuits and controversies surrounding the many companies Fowler owns.

I used to be a die hard Raider fan, growing up there and watching the team in the 60s even.......when they left for L.A. that great Oakland mystic (kind of like Pittsburgh's blue collar one) left and it never came back when they did. Up until they left, they were the team with the longest sell out attendance ..........now you can't even see them on tv at a home game......but you are right, Moss will fit in better there than some places but his antics like Owens in SF won't be tolerated for long.....
like you say....Al Davis' time has come and gone....at one time he was one of the best and innovative and smartest owners around....but seems like he started losing it in the 80s.....even people her in the Bay Area are torn between his hall of fame stature, and his operational incompetance. But like most players, they don't know when to quit
Fowler is trying to work his way out of his "credentials" issue right now.
I believe threy're trying to blame it on over-zealous PR staff.
His financials? Hard to say. But I've heard a couple of people comment that a man of his wealth seems very low-key in a city like Phoenix where few in the business community know him or even know OF him.
I guess time will tell if there are skeletons in his closet or larger bumps in the road for him.
Will the NFL be as inept as the NHL with the Islanders?..remember, a few years ago, they approved the sale to a guy who was a total fraud..he didn't have a penny..and he passed the due diligence...The NFL will check him out ..but if they turn him down..the howls will be unreal..Jesse jackson will opine..
