Milton Academy rocked by expulsions By Michael Levenson and Jenna Russell, Globe Correspondent and Globe Staff | February 20, 2005 MILTON -- A Milton Academy official said yesterday the school's decision to expel five male students for receiving oral sex from a 15-year-old sophomore girl was ''excruciating" but necessary to send a strong message to students, as students and parents expressed mixed reactions to the discipline. Three sophomores and two juniors, all members of the boys hockey team, were expelled from the picturesque private campus Friday, after a three-day school investigation found that they requested and received oral sex from a classmate in a school locker room last month, an academy spokeswoman said. That was my initial thought but after the explaination of 5 to 1 and it might not have been consentual.
It says in the article that the boys requested the service before receiving it.

She has been suspended as well. You have to read the entire article to find that out, though.
Hockey players, like other HS athletes, get some special standing in school. Never put it past a girl to put out to get noticed.
In college (Boston University), the hocky team groupies were called puck f---s.
There is no "as well", she was placed on leave, they were expelled, there is a big difference.

They are obviously considering the question of coercion. If they conclude there was none, she will evidently be expelled, as well. Their temporization in her case is justified, I believe.
There is no sign that the administration is not prepared to take the appropriate action.
I think this girl sad, just sad. But I wonder what kind of parents and home she has. This is not normal behavior for a girl of that age, or any age. Something is wrong but I wouldn't brand her a slut myself.
These kids are acting out what was taught to them as perfectly acceptable and normal in public school.
