I think it HAS tamed down since. There are still the obnoxious crowds but I tend to avoid them. (Crevo threads come to mind as well as some Catholics who cannot hack anyone questioning anything about the Church. -- hint to them: how can one learn if one doesn't question?)

Hannity was answering a question, that's not an attack. And he's right, although I tend to avoid those threads (religion and evolution/creation - well both tend to be the same) where people get so "mainstream liberal media"-like in their argumentation methods.

Having experienced both, I can sayn that for me there is no substantive difference. So you learn to mostly avoid the 'pet subjects' of those hypercritical goofs.
