I'm not watching it now, but I really enjoy a lot of the "old shows" they replay on TV Land, like "Leave it Beaver" and "The Munsters" or the "Dick Van Dyke Show." It's interesting how despite having seen the episodes before the themes are often still very timely and make me laugh. Good, clean entertainment without all the profanity or sexual references that keep me away from sitcomes nowadays.

Well, "Happy Days" is one of the few shows from the '70's that doesn't poison the well at TVLand.

I think it's a "jump the shark" thing.

it's the Happy Days episode where Potsy and Ralph put a black snake into Joanie's purse.
;)
(just read your little anecdote on the other thread and am still laughing!)

Love every one of those shows.
Plus I never saw them the first time round.
They are really great.

Happy Days ping.
Anyone remember the episode where Chachi had to wrestle Ox Baker in the parking lot of Al's so as to impress Joanie and the Fonz?
More importantly, remember the lesson learned about not risking your life just to be seen as "cool". The Fonz was great about reinforcing that message.

I usually watch Happy Days. But if its an episode that shows Chachi in the credits and the Fonz wearing a black t-shirt, I change it.
Its a give away that its one of those late 70s episodes that sucked.
