I type all day long and go so fast that I often miss errors like that. Typos, I pick up as soon as I type them. Punctuation will slip right by me.
Can I ask who you were? No biggie if you can't. I'm sure that there are lots of good reasons why you shouldn't.

ANYWAYS, getting off that topic, intersting fact about myself. What turned me from a flaming liberal, to a moderate one was, well, a fellow High School student who, you could almost argue fits the bill of 'stereotypical white gun-toting conservative'. He could litterally name almost any gun, any brand, and any make, whatever. Also someone who gets in trouble with the law a lot. coservative-hating liberals wetdream! The funny thing was, when ever he started talking about the gun issue, he started to make more and more sense to me. Before I was EXTREMELY anti-gun (going through the public school system. I wonder why?). Then, I became probably THE most pro-gun person around. Funny how things work huh?
9-11 was the event that pushed be over the edge to a full conservative. But, not at the time. Since I was still a liberal, I still had some, misplaced resentment that Gore wasn't President (Scary huh? While I wasn't the one blaming America, I also didn't think Gore would've done anything differently either). However, 9-11 started the ball, and I started to listen to talk radio more and reading topics on Free Republic. Full conservative here I am.

As for the weekly ping, Ok I'll be in and I'll ping the list (Unless for some reason I get a lot of complaints). I would suggest to make on Fridays since some other ping list do that and everybody is more upbeat and it seems Fridays are the days you get the most hits (In Ping list Lingo it's called The Friday Fun Ping). Even on my list I tend to look for articles that are lighthearted/nostalgic to post on Fridays.

I'd rather not "reveal" my old screen name, and this, in a nutshell, is why:
I naievely had used the same name at several different sites. One day I did a google search for my screen name, and way too much information came up. Given the weirdos out there, and the fact that I have a family, I thought it prudent to be more careful. So I've switched my screen names, including this one.

I understand. No problem.
I 'google' myself once in a while to see what's out there about me, but I haven't googled 'badray' and I use that name everywhere. However, I also frequently post things with both my screen name and my real name, address and even my phone number and I have had no unpleasantness directed at me. Perhaps I need to become more strident. It doesn't seem that I am getting enough attention. ;-)
If there were someone else who might feel the heat from my remarks, I'd be more careful too. But it's just me.
