valentine Gift for Your Sweetie [vanity]

Just for fun. Why not discuss something everyone is doing? Just post your choice of Valentine's Day gift(s)for the one(s) you love so everyone can compare notes.

I bought chocolates for my wife and two daughter. Told them sweets for my sweet. It made them happy, which makes me happy. (Romance isn't exactly my strong point, but they don't seem to mind much.

I don't know.....I think romance just might be in the heart of the beholder.

:) I'll take that as avote of confidence. Thanks. My wife and daughters think I'm okay, so I guess that's all that counts.

To: delacoert; Everybody

I got to get up early and go to work, and no flowers or candy (sigh). Oh well...

Oh, and I almost got a valentine from a "secret admirer" in the daily paper in Palo Alto in the valentine section. It was my name, spelled correctly, but the only problem was I didn't know anybody named "Horst". Drat! He said some nice things, about me, too!

Love to hear more about what everybody else says.

Just read your about page. (If I'd done that sooner I would have known better.

I particularly appreciated two lines:

Back here in the Chat/General Discussion hinterland it will be lucky to get any attention. Probably could use a couple ping list posts. <Hint> <Hint>

My husband took me to Macaroni Grill on Saturday. We bought him a new suit. I'm making him baby back ribs with homemade barbecue sauce, and grilled zucchini and asparagus, with a salad.

I've seen commercials for the Macaroni Grill on TV, and the food looks pretty good! Is it?

I'll bet your hubby enjoys tonight's dinner, but what, no dessert? (You don't have to answer that! :) )

Alas, just as I have no flowers and candy, I have no ping list! Be glad to give this thread a "hearts and flowers" bump, tho!

My husband and I had a steak and lobster dinner at home. I gave him a Harley Davidson paper weight and 2 cards. He bought me a beautiful Citrine ring and roses. As you can tell I am the cheap one.
