Yeah; Mockingbirds are like the terrriers of the bird world. They might not be the biggest and baddest, but they believe that they are so completely that they are able to convince the bigger and badder birds that they are.

I keep a pan of sunflower seeds and peanuts on the back porch railing and I just watched a Titmouse grab a peanut, make a hole in it so he could get a good grip on it and then fly off with it. These guys are so funny.

You have FReep mail.

They are so entertaining to watch. I could spend hours watching them! The time goes so fast too.

Thanks. The software to my camera is no longer working. It's very frustrating. I've been looking for easy to use photo software so I can make the pictures smaller rather than making this huge pictures in a post. I should have cropped that more also.

I hope my Mockers come back this spring. They are still around during the winter but I don't see them in my yard.
Your thread has me very eager to plant more for them this year. I'm going to change the set up also. Are your birds getting use to their new locations for feeding?

Hooray! Hooray!
The sun's out today!
And all the birds come out to play!
First ones up to eat & sing,
That lovely favorite, the Cedar waxwing!

The next one out to be seen and heard,
The noisy Cardinal, a bright red bird!

Now, who's next? We must keep hunting!
There he is, a tiny Bunting!

There's the hummer! What could be neater?

How 'bout some Titmice on the feeder?

What's that I spot way up above,
soaking up the rays? A White-wing Dove!

And by the road, his head a bobbin',
looky there! A Red Breast Robin!

Thus I end my little rhyme,
and though the warmth goes north in time,
the birds there now just freeze their buns,
and the birds in Texas are the lucky ones!

You can actually size them down in your coding.

I'll have to look into that. I'm not sure how to do the coding. I have so much to learn.

"Are your birds getting use to their new locations for feeding?" Yes. The yard was full when I woke up this morning.

That pic is awesome and you said you would bore me with your pics in your FReepmail.NOT.LOL.

This is from a post on the html Bootcamp thread:
"When posting images - especially large ones - it is a great courtesy to add height and width parameters to the tag. This allows the browser to allocate a block of space for the image and keep on loading the rest of the thread while the image builds up.
Example: < IMG HEIGHT="yyy" WIDTH="xxx" SRC="http://www.blahblah.com" > (No spaces at the ends)
It is easy to find the height and width using your browser. Before you post it, just "open" the image in your browser and the height and width will be displayed up on the title line at the very top of the page.
