First ones up to eat & sing,
That lovely favorite, the Cedar waxwing!
The next one out to be seen and heard,
The noisy Cardinal, a bright red bird!
Now, who's next? We must keep hunting!
There he is, a tiny Bunting!
There's the hummer! What could be neater?
How 'bout some Titmice on the feeder?
What's that I spot way up above,
soaking up the rays? A White-wing Dove!
And by the road, his head a bobbin',
looky there! A Red Breast Robin!
Thus I end my little rhyme,
and though the warmth goes north in time,
the birds there now just freeze their buns,
and the birds in Texas are the lucky ones!
Great post! Wonderful Pictures!!!
Can I come over to see them?, LOL!
