This is from a post on the html Bootcamp thread:

"When posting images - especially large ones - it is a great courtesy to add height and width parameters to the tag. This allows the browser to allocate a block of space for the image and keep on loading the rest of the thread while the image builds up.

Example: < IMG HEIGHT="yyy" WIDTH="xxx" SRC="http://www.blahblah.com" > (No spaces at the ends)

It is easy to find the height and width using your browser. Before you post it, just "open" the image in your browser and the height and width will be displayed up on the title line at the very top of the page.
