My buddy threw a knife at his sisters foot one time when they were fighting, she hit him in the head with a broomstick. The blade busted her foot open. His dad is a Dr. they just stitched it up at the kitchen table. both were grounded for a week.

My brother broke a small TV over my head when I was 6. He was 9. No cops involved but dad went scorched earth.

True. Children don't stab their siblings over a (most likely TV dinner-style) chicken pot pie unless there's some serious disorder and parental failings present.

I broke my big sisters nose in a fight over which TV channel to watch. Of course this was after many, many years of her previously abusing me. We never fought again after that night.

There is no way I'd have the little miscreant back in my house. He's a danger to himself and others.

That isn't funny--it's downright creepy.

Oh, C'mon you people... I guess you have to be a South Park fan to see the humor in this.

I'm sorry, but what part of this is funny?
When our teens are getting out knives and stabbing over silly things, it is anything but funny. Our world is going to the dogs...

I was about to reply that filing criminal charges against a 12 year old was a big overreach until I read this in the article:
"When the 13-year-old girl refused to give up the microwavable pie, her brother drew a nine-inch folding knife and attacked, Covarrubias said."
That is series and I hope they take a hard look at the parents, too. What the heck is the kid doing packing a knife like that?

My cousin stabbed me in the arm with a lead pencil about 25 years ago. Wonder if the statute of limitations has run out? Grandpa took the razor strap to both of us. Wonder if the statute of limitations has run out on that? I have a scar on the back of my head where the school bully hit me with a rock in a snowball the sob. Hell he never even spent anytime in the principals office........
